About Neutreeno

Neutreeno is a B2B SaaS ClimateTech spin-out from the University of Cambridge that helps companies to achieve Real Zero supply chain decarbonisation, without offsetting. Our technology provides the solution to the 99% of businesses who can’t measure (or reduce) their own emissions, shifting the paradigm beyond Net Zero.

We are a small, collaborative team of world-leading sustainability experts, growing quickly. Our group includes IPCC climate scientists, low-carbon tech engineers and is backed by the University of Cambridge Engineering Department’s decarbonisation group, the Cambridge Judge Business School, Entrepreneur First and Cambridge Enterprise.

The role

Neutreeno is a small start-up, moving quickly towards our seed round. You’ll be an integral part of our core team of self-starters, owning multiple projects and thriving wearing multiple hats.

Your task will be to build a new, scalable carbon measurement engine that evaluates emissions & efficiencies from the production of goods & services. You will be working directly with the founder and world-leading low-carbon client scientists to develop high-level frameworks & models that have the potential to globally revolutionise emissions measurement and fundamentally change the way businesses decarbonise without offsetting.

Using our novel process engineering approach you will apply your skillset to measure, analyse and report on, real-world operational corporate datasets from a global enterprise client’s supply chain. Alongside the software developer, you will integrate the models directly into a functioning software web application. This will be instrumental in demonstrating the decarbonisation potential (proof-of-concept) for our seed round.
